I’m Fraser, founder of Holywell Surveyors, an independent RICS building surveyor and valuer based in Southam.
I exclusively work with local clients, surveying the surrounding towns, such as Banbury, Rugby, Leamington Spa, and Stratford-upon-Avon.
I specialise in residential building surveys and valuations, with experience in historic listed buildings, right through to modern energy-efficient homes.

RICS Level 2 Survey
A RICS Level 2 survey is a concise report, typically suitable for modern, less complex properties. It highlights defects and risks, recommends repairs, and flags any areas where further investigations may be needed.
RICS Level 3 Survey
A RICS Level 3 survey is a detailed report, recommended for older or run-down buildings. It provides information on current issues and advises on how to manage the property long term.

How I protect you
1. I Limit
Quality is always over quantity, I limit how many building surveys I carry out each week to allow myself the time to carry out a thorough job.
No stone is left unturned. With the latest technology, such as drones, probe cameras, thermal imagery, and the willingness to get dirty (which should never be underestimated), I can confidently give you an accurate property understanding, not a list of assumptions.
2. I Invest
Before any survey, it is fundamental that I understand what is important to you.
Looking for advice on installing solar panels? Worried about a crack in the wall? Unsure what owning a listed building actually means?
This is where we ask you the right questions before the survey, to ensure that the only advice you get is value-add, we don’t have time for fluff.
3. I Care
I don’t disappear after the report is sent, I’m on hand to answer any questions that you have, and always recommend at least one follow up call to run through the survey.
Sometimes there is a lot to consider, but it’s my job to help you navigate those decisions, so rely on me as much as you need.
I can support with discussions with solicitors on legal issues, verify quotes or subsequent reports, and even just help with choosing the right colour for the bathroom.
